JAPANODE started from a simple observation: most Japan travel content online is written by people who visited once and compiled a listicle. We wanted to do better.
We are based in Japan. We ride the same trains, eat at the same restaurants, and navigate the same systems that travelers encounter every day. When we write about buying a Suica card or finding the cheapest eSIM, we are drawing on years of firsthand experience — not a press trip or a quick research session.
